Jerold Williams

Jerold O. Williams, 76, Cheney, died December 13, 2011. Born on December 20, 1934 in Sand Creek to Lawrence and Viola (Ofe) Williams. Graduated from Oakdale High School where he participated in basketball and choir. U.S. Army veteran, switchboard operator. Worked for Western Electric, operated J & S Grocery Store in Butte, worked at Madison Foods. Later worked for and retired from Lincoln Public Schools.

Family members include: wife, June;daughter Kimberly and husband Alan Jackson; sons, Jerry Jr. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Jason and wife Joann; Matthew and wife Susan; Anthony and Daniel, all of Lincoln; three grandchildren; six step children, James Radcliffe and partner Troy, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Jan and Kirk Robinson, Kearney; Jerry Radcliffe, Lincoln; Jetta Adams and partner, David McBride, Kearney; Gina and Emms Samci, Cheney; and Tracey Adams, Cheney. Many step great grandchildren. Close family friends George Disharoon, Lincoln; Shane Osborn, Omaha; and Lynette Waugh, Norfolk. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roland "Rusty" Williams.

Cremation. No visitation. Private gathering of immediate family with a celebration of life at a later date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorials to family’s choice.
