Rickie Schmutte

Ricky J. Schmutte, 60, Roca, died January 19. Born October 27, 1951, in Lincoln to Victor and Irene (Barnett) Schmutte. Graduated Norris High School and Milford Trade School. Farmed in and near Roca. Member American Legion Sons.

Family members include: wife, Nancy, Roca; daughter, Jennifer Edmonds, and husband, Paul, Kansas City, Kansas. Step-daughters Christy Crossley, and husband, John, Fairway, Kansas, Laurie Egbarts, Overland, Kansas; sister, Victoria L. Eusterwiemann, Howells; four grandchildren. aunt and uncle, niece and nephews and spouses; beloved canine, Abby. Preceded in death by parents, Victor and Irene Schmutte.

A memorial service was held January 23 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, York. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association and the American Heart Association.
