Donna Copes

Donna Faye Copes, 74, Lincoln, died January 26. Born near Champion to Ross and Leona (Peckham) Smith on May 15, 1937. Graduated from Palmyra High School. Employed Collection Bureau of Lincoln for 40+ years. Held numerous offices in Credit Women’s International.

Family members include: husband, Wayne; son, Bob; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Thomas Shock, Lincoln; sister, Jane Cockerham, Milton, Florida; sister-in-law, Carole Ann Smith; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Mary Copes, Prescott, Arizona, Lois and Cal Hering, Great Falls, Montana, Glenn and Margaret Copes; Lynn and Joan Copes. Preceded in death by brother, Ronald Smith.

Funeral services were held January 31 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra. Memorials to Capital Humane Society, Lincoln.
