Naked TruthBy Gerry BaksysA Denton man pled no contest to aggravated DUI third offense after being stopped for driving in a truck naked last winter. Nickolus Borgman, 33, of Denton, pled no contest and could face up to five years in prison when he is sentenced on March 14. On February 18, 2011, Borgman was stopped by a deputy near SW 140th and West A Streets for driving too slowly and having four people in the front seat. After stopping the vehicle, the deputy discovered the two men and two women sitting in the front of the Ford F-250 were all naked. The deputy reported there were clothes and empty beer cans in the bed of the pickup, and two open beer cans in the cab. After Borgman was taken to detox, his BAC tested at .171. Court records show he was sentenced for two previous DUIs in 2002 and 2010. |
