Rainbow Cupcakes 1 pkg of white cake mix Directions: Prepare cake mix and divide the batter evenly among 6 small bowls. For purple cake mix, mix 9 red drops of food coloring with 6 drops blue. For blue cake mix, put in 12 drops blue. For green cake mix, put in 12 drops green. For yellow cake mix, put in 12 drops yellow. For orange cake mix, mix 12 yellow drops of food coloring with 4 drops red. For red cake mix, put in 18 drops red. Line cupcake pan with 16 liners. Evenly distribute each batter (one at a time) between cups. As you go, gently spread each layer of batter with the back of a spoon to cover underneath color. Bake according to box, let cool, and decorate. |
