Cook of the Week Recipes Glazed Cinnamon Apples From Maria Harris Voice News - January 12, 2012 6 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and cut (wedge) 1 T of fresh lemon juice 1/2 cup of granulated sugar 1/2 cup of packed light brown sugar 2 T of flour 1 tsp. of ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp. of ground nutmeg 6 T of butter, melted vanilla ice cream crumbled oatmeal or ginger snap cookies Place apples in Crockpot and drizzle with lemon juice. Mix sugars, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in small bowl. Sprinkle mixture over apples and stir gently to coat. Drizzle with butter and cook on low for 3 hours or high for 2 hours.
